Yea! November!

So sorry for the lack of posts. Things have been a little crazy and our little blog has been the last thing on my mind.
First of all I'm so glad October is over, I hate Halloween. Mostly for the color choices. Silly I know, but whoever decided that black, orange, and purple would look great together were nuts. AND I hate those little decor items that talk when you walk by them at stores. AND since Halloween is officially past it means we are that much closer to Christmas and I can't wait!
I really love Christmas. I love it even more because Zach loves it.

Anyway, what have we been up to you ask? For most of October we were trying to buy a new house. It was a short sale that a builder had stopped working on before it was done. We tried putting offers in, but they really just wanted to let it foreclose so they could get more at auction. SO then we tried to get it at auction, but the opening bid was outrageous. It was way more than the house was worth, and we were validated in thinking that because no one else bid. Everyone just looked around at each other like "this guy is crazy for paying that."
Having shared that, no we aren't looking to move. We just loved that house. Since it wasn't done it would have been a great project for us. We would have loved finishing it just the way we wanted to. So no, we aren't moving.
Then we had some family drama the week after the auction and people needed moving. And on top of that I was sick for three weeks straight. THREE WEEKS PEOPLE. No one should have a cold for that long. I'm pretty sure I had one cold and then caught another at the tail end of the first. But now I'm on the mend, and just in time because on Friday we are leaving for Arizona to visit friends (Yea Aubrey!), family, and....

Ben Folds

Yes, that's right. Ben Folds twice in one year. AND what's even better is there is seating unlike when he was at Saltair. 19th row. We are very excited. We are driving down because plane tickets were way too much and gas has dropped so much that it just didn't compare. So we thought we'd stop in Vegas and do something fun with the money we saved from driving. We are going to see We were able to get seats on the third row. We've both wanted to see this for a while, Zach is a big Beatles fan, so why not?

On Saturday morning 11/8 we will be in Las Vegas and from Sunday 11/9 to Wednesday11/12 we will be in the Phoenix area. If anyone is interested in pictures, email me at zachandjennie@gmail.com

And, by the way, we added a new link to our photography website on the side. Click on my logo and it will take you to it.

Thanks for reading :) You're neat.

Yay for BF. That's so cool that you guys get to go again. The new album is great. He doesn't disappoint does he? Sorry you didn't get that house. That would've been super-dee-duperty cool. Love you!
