We had a terrific weekend at Bear Lake. We left home Thursday night and got back on Monday afternoon. It was so nice to have such a long weekend. My brother's family and all my cousins came up. It was so much fun to spend time with them. One cousin brought up wave runners and a great time was had by all.

Friday morning JJ got in a little tiff with a black lab and JJ ran into the lab's teeth. Nothing at all big, just a little knick on his nose. We started back from the beach and he took off. When he came back he had a scratch on his side. Zach went to get some ointment for it and came back to find JJ ripping open his side. Nice. We tried to just wrap it up, but he figured out how to get it off. When we got home from the Lake we took him to the vet. It turned out the wound had healed around the edges and couldn't be stitched up like it was. So they cut around his wound to freshen it up and stitched it back up. They had to fully put him under to do the surgery. It's been so sad. For two days after he got bit (or bit himself) he just slept. If you've met JJ you realize how odd this is considering he's the most hyper thing ever. He's okay now, back to himself mostly. Here are some pics...

Oh JJ, what are we going to do with you? Your Bear Lake pictures are gorgeous! I love them. They make me want to go back even more. Hope JJ AND you feel better!
Poor JJ.. I hate it when Casey keep picking at his little wounds he gets when Gary takes him hunting.. You're right, the blue tube around the neck is a lot better than the cone head thing, that's what Casey had to wear awhile back.... Pretty sad lookin' in those things.!! I'm glad JJ is okay!
