Only one week until my five years of waiting comes to an end.
Let me clarify, that is, waiting for Ben Folds to come back.
Oh, how I've missed his sweet voices and smooth moves.

Last time I went with my friend Sarah and some other random people. (Sarah, I posted this picture just for you.) This picture was after the last concert. Even thought it doesn't have to do anything with the concert that night, it totally reminds me of the last time Ben came to town. Don't you just love the randomness of that picture? He was just some random guy at Hire's in SLC that wanted to be in our picture. He's so random, and then that other girl (I think she was someone's girlfriend?) has her eyes closed. I love it.
Ah memories...Sarah you will be missed, but I'm glad you are going!
This year he will be playing at the Saltair Amphitheater. I've never been to a concert there, so it should be interesting. It's been a while since I've been to a concert. My age was obvious when my overwhelming disappointment showed it's ugly side when I found out there was no reserved seating, it's all general admission. That wouldn't have bothered me a few years ago, but now I'd rather just relax in the privacy of my own personal bubble sat in my own seat, with my Canon 20D and zoom lens. But alas, I will have to share my own personal space with everyone else as we claw our way to the front to get a peek at Ben's fancy finger work. It will be totally worth it.

Oh geez! That picture kills me. Don't you love how I "crimped" my hair. At least it looks better than that guy.
Yes, I am so excited!!!! I can't believe that was already 5 years ago. It was so much fun last time. I'm right there with you on the seating. I guess it helps that we were front and center last time. I'm counting on your pictures actually being good. Mine will be crap. I wish we were going together, but we will be together in soul.

Hey, I just noticed that I am wearing that shirt of yours that I kept for about 4 years. I hope you still have it. You can hang it on the wall next to your BF's stuff--cuz it's been in the same room as him.
