Finally my 5 years of waiting came to an end and my 12 year love affair with Ben Folds will continue on. The concert was EVERYTHING I could have hoped it to be. Oh, how I love me some Ben Folds. We had a great time. We went with our friend Aubrey, who came all the way from AZ to go with us, and Rachel and Collin. I loved every minute of it (except for the part about being surrounded by strangers. It turns out I'm too old and short to deal with general admission.) He played lots of old stuff like "Kate" and "Underground" AND "Rockin' the Suburbs." He also played "Luckiest" which is a classic, but he plays it a lot at shows. Some girl he met in the parking lot requested it. Dumb girl, she should have requested something he never plays, like "Don't change your plans" but no. Although overplayed, still it was great. He also played some new stuff that will be on his next album. I didn't know he had a next album already so that was very exciting news! Yea! How I love new music. I had a hard time getting a decentphoto, but I tried. AND my camera died not to far into Ben's set, but that's okay. Enjoy!

Sounds AMAZING. I can't wait until Tuesday. I'm glad to hear that he played some old stuff too. That's so cool that he's coming out with another album. I do wish we could have been together. Glad you guys had such an awesome time. Love you!
