God bless (save) my mom. The phone rings at 2 in the morning last night. It's her. She needs a ride home from the ER. She "took" the ambulance there, but has no way back (like it's a cab). Keep in mind that I haven't really spoken with her in about a month because she decided I'm the cause of all her problems. She did call a couple of weeks ago, but that was only to tell me that I'm a horrible daughter. Love you too mom.
Anyway, so I go. I'm not completely heartless, even though I do hold grudges that don't quit. She makes her way into the passenger side and is speechless. We get to her home (that's right, she didn't say a word the entire way) and she asks me, "Don't you want to know what happened?" I wanted to say not really, but instead said "Sure, why not."
Mom: "Well I have really bad allergies right now. My eyes have been killing me. So I got up and went to the medicine cabinet and grabbed my eye drops. It really stung, but that's normal. It seemed like my eyes were getting goopier so I kept putting more drops in until finally I couldn't open my eye at all. I grabbed the super-glue not the eye drops. I super-glued my eye shut."
Me: Silence and staring followed by uncontrollable laughter!
I love it. Who keeps the super-glue in their medicine cabinet by their eye drops? Who does that?

Oh my gosh! Super Glue! That is insane. Is she okay? That was sweet of you to help her.
Good glory! I think this is the most incredible story you've ever shared. Lands. It only confirms my belief that you are amazing to have survived your childhood.
Kill me, your so good.
NO WAY! How does someone... ummm... never mind, I don't think there is a rational answer to my question:). Thanks for the laugh!
What! Holly cow, I mean really, Oh Man...What more can I say. But you are a good daughter (Sister) to do that for her. You are a very strong person!
